Chakrapani Ullal is a world-renowned Vedic Astrologer from Kerala, South India .  He was born into a family of illustrious astrologers and has had continuous contact with many of the most revered spiritual teachers of India. The Ullal family has been keepers of that knowledge for many generations, and, as was the custom, Chakrapani began to receive training from his father while still a young boy. Because the application of astrological principals is deeply embedded in the customs and rituals of village life, education in the subject was as much a way of life as a focus of study. He later came to take his degree in business studies and law and subsequently traveled extensively in his capacity as an advisor to the companies he represented.

In 1979 he was invited by Swami Muktananda to come to America as an astrological advisor and consultant.  He now resides in the Los Angeles area and travels throughout the world to teach and consult with his diverse international clientele. Beyond his Astrology practice Chakrapani sits on the boards of several organizations; the “International Journal of Humanities and Peace,” which publishes a Journal for scholars in the Humanities, the Ganesha Foundation which promotes Vedic Sciences and the  American College of Vedic Astrology which teaches and sponsors conferences on Vedic Astrology.

He has been at the forefront of the cultural exchange between India and America for decades, which bears witness to a revival of knowledge from the Vedic Tradition including yoga, ayurveda and astrology.  He has been awarded the titles of Jyotish Kovid, Jyotish Vachaspati, and Jyotish Sagan by the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences.
